Mom's friend got tickets to a concert, then could not go. She said, " I never win anything and I won these and cannot go." She gave mom the four tickets and parking pass. Tonight was our family date night. Dad picked up grandma and brought her back to join us for a chicken stir fry dinner before heading north on our date night. Mom read aloud from Anne of Green Gables on the way to Salt Lake. Dad, mom, my 90 year old grandma, and I went to the concert. It was the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Pioneer Day Commemorative Concert, commemorating 100 years of recording. We had awesome seats in the second section back to the left of center. I sat next to mom. The concert was a blast-- beautiful music, colorful stage, and I got to listen to the prophet.
Dad got the car, as mom and I walked grandma from the Conference Center and down to West Temple to meet him. On the way home, mom read aloud from Anne of Green Gables and the two of us played our favorite car games- A as in Draper.... and I am A... and I am from A... and I like A...When we got home, we were hungry and had cold stir fry.
